These terms apply to your use of arosearisen.com (the "Site") and to any purchase you make from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them before you buy.
1. Who we are
Arose Arisen is a UK-based maker of one-off, handmade garments created from vintage and deadstock fabric.

2. Our products
Every piece sold on this Site is a genuine one-off. Garments are finished, photographed and listed before sale — what you see in the listing is the actual piece you'll receive, not a sample or a representative image. Because pieces are made from reclaimed fabric, small variations, marks or imperfections are part of the material's history and are not considered faults.
Once a piece is sold, it's gone — we do not restock or remake identical items.
3. Placing an order
By placing an order, you're making an offer to buy the piece at the listed price. We'll confirm receipt of your order by email or message, but the contract between us is only formed once we confirm the order is accepted (for example, once payment has cleared and we've confirmed the piece is available). Because each piece is one-off, on the rare occasion an item becomes unavailable after you've ordered (for example, a processing error), we'll let you know as soon as possible and refund you in full.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in GBP (£). Prices do not include VAT because we are not VAT-registered.
We accept payment by debit/credit card , via stripe and PayPal. Payment is taken at the time of order.
5. Delivery
We currently ship within the UK only.
Dispatch: orders are dispatched within 3 working days of purchase, as each piece is packed individually.
Delivery time: typically 2-4 working days from dispatch via Royal Mail Tracked.
Delivery cost: £5.00 per order
Risk in the goods passes to you once they're delivered to the address you provided. If you think your order has gone missing, contact us and we'll help track it down.
6. Returns
We hope you love your purchase, however, if you wish to return an item, please email hello@arosearisen.com within 14 days of receipt of your item.
Items must be sent within 14 days of receipt. They must be unworn, with all tags and labels intact and in the original packaging. Please note customers are liable for return shipping costs and any duty fees where applicable.
Please make sure return packages are insured and tracked. Arose Arisen is not responsible for them until they have been received.
Once the item is received, inspected and subject to approval, we will refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receipt.
Faulty or not-as-described items: If an item is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality, contact us and we'll sort out a refund, repair or replacement as appropriate.
7. Care of your piece
Each piece is made from vintage or reclaimed fabric. Where we can identify a safe general care approach for the material (for example, gentle hand-wash), we'll note it with the piece. Because fabric origin can't always be fully verified, we recommend spot-testing and gentle care, and we're not liable for damage caused by washing or care methods outside any guidance we provide.
8. Website content and copyright
All content on this Site, including photography, text, logos and the Arose Arisen name and mark, is owned by Arose Arisen and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and share content from this Site for personal, non-commercial use (for example, sharing a post on social media), but you may not reproduce, copy, or use our content, including product photography, for any commercial purpose without our prior written permission.
If you believe content on this Site infringes your copyright, please contact us at hello@arosearisen.com with details of the material and your rights in it, and we'll look into it promptly.
9. Public comments and interaction
If we enable comments, reviews or similar features on the Site, please keep them respectful and relevant. We reserve the right to remove any comment that is abusive, infringes someone else's copyright or other rights, or is otherwise inappropriate.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that can't legally be limited or excluded. Subject to that, we're not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or purchase of a product.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example as the business grows or the law changes. The version in place at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
